Okay, let's get the eco-friendly stuff out there : LED light bulbs are safe for the environment. They don't contain any mercury and they don't contain halogen gas, both of which are harmful to the environment. LED bulbs are also extremely small, last for what seems like forever and are ever brighter than any other technology on the market. So are they any draw back to LED lights at all? Well, not really. LED light bulbs are very efficient, come in several different colors and it only takes a couple LEDs to illuminate an entire room.
Now that LED light bulbs have been out for a while, people are starting to modify the product. Like anything else, people seem to think that it can also be better or more efficient. I don't know if I'd go that far, but there are several interesting ideas people are trying to apply to what is now considered to be, the somewhat 'traditional' the LED light bulb. The LED light itself is very small, but the housing in which it is placed is often quite large. Researching are now developing much smaller LED bulbs with the same strength as before. One very creative group has even produced a wind powered LED light bulb that combines two very efficient worlds: wind power and LED lighting technology.
Regardless of what you decide to do with your LED bulbs, be it work in a shop or accent your new stainless steel stove, no one can argue the benefits of LED light bulbs. They last forever. They are brighter than anything else available and they consume far less energy than all previous light bulbs. Sounds like a pretty simple decision. Oh; the price. Though LED light bulbs are still more expensive than your older styled light bulbs, they pay for themselves in after about 100 hours of use. I know it's hard to bring yourself to spend a little more up front, but the rewards are worth it.
There are tons of different led light bulbs for home and other applications including the famous gu10 led, ge led light bulbs, led flood light bulbs, dimmable led light bulbs and led replacement bulbs.
Moms, dad and tech savvy teenagers can all come together on this and agree that nothing compares to the LED light bulbs. Just think, you can all load up in the minivan (equipped with LED taillights), use your LED flashlight to find some goodies underneath the seats on the way to the store to pick up your LED track lights for mom to buy and dad to install. This is an LED world and we're just living in it.
